NEW PAGE---NEW DAY

October 24

I can't yet tell what kind of a day this will be, but I am anticipating that it will be a good one. The tide has changed for our Jewish community .After a series of deaths, today, we have the start of a new beginning. Two children from our Religious school will be called to the Torah. Next week, there will be a marriage ceremony.  How happy this will be. In a month, we will have experienced almost all of the life cycle .What we have done in this past 5 weeks is  that we have shed tears because of losses and now, I suspect there will be more tears, but now they are because we are happy. We take these passages of life seriously because we remember. We remember our own losses and we remember our good times.

Because it is never too late, let's hope that there are more of the good times.

I just started to read your blog. I am in awe of you, I didn't know all you have accomplished - school, running, and your desire to live in Israel.

Hugs

We spoke of this at a Shabbat service-birth, marriage, milestones, death, are all part of the fullness of life. Love you, Leona
