A day does not start off well for me when I wake up to a plumbing issue and the WiFi doesn't work. Son to the rescue for one and flipping a switch in the fuse box to fix the other and my life is restored. I am so easy. Today
was extraordinary. The sun was out, the sky was blue ,the kind of day that is crispy cold. And the birds, especially robins and hummingbirds were eating furiously. Maybe because it rained so hard, or got cold so quickly, but the birds were out in force and
pecking away. I just sat on my couch and watched the woods. I lost count of all of the birds that I saw. A few were on the branches that brush against one of my windows. That was a project that I didn't finish and now I am glad that I didn't yet trim some
of those branches. My DiL is going to give me a book of Washington state birds. I would like to know which birds I am seeing. There is no need to buy bird food ,these birds seem to be happy with what they are getting in my yard. I bet it's the Hot Lip bushes.
They are my favorite bush too.
