I am excited to have my first county fair ribbon. And more exciting is that the message of strong women came through. My son told me that the wall hanging came up at the company lunch today. someone had even taken a pictures
of it and said that there were people standing around, discussing it. One co worker asked which wall hanging was it and my son said " which one wasn't like the others?" Our message wasn't quilting but the content and we did it. We learned that we could have
never won a first because they use a method of judging that I think is called Norwegian or Dutch judging. It is based solely on skill of quilting,which we completely understand. But so happy to have had some impact on fair go- ers.
