ON THE BACK BURNER

" Always busy but you don't do anything in particular". I copied that line from either a movie or something that I read. Sounds like something Winnie the Pooh would say. And that often describes my days. Busy,  busy,  but really nothing in particular  to report. . I think that is why I like that remark. Legitimizes what I can do all day. Today was challah day and laundry day. I love folding clothes, but dislike putting them away. If I let myself, I would just leave the folded clothes in a neat pile and  take from the pile, as I need them. Living in 27 feet forces you to maintain an orderly living space. I pretty much know where I put everything, even though I sometimes have to search for it. It's hard to actually lose anything , but misplacing something is another thing. This afternoon, my grandson  brought me a very large tomato cage and then trimmed back some lower suckers on the tomato stems. If all goes well, I will have a bumper crop of tomatoes. If it doesn't, I have a large contribution for the compost pile.
