When will it get warm ? I think that the reason our daffodils are still going strong is because it is still cold here. It hasn't reached 50 yet, but I am hopeful. The
days are longer and that is nice. I use to wait for it to get light , around 8 o'clock ,so that I could walk Dixie. Now, it is light before 7. But, since Dixie is still sleeping, it probably doesn't matter. I am always impressed by how long she can sleep.
In her defense, there's not much that she can do. She does feel that it is her role to protect me, and she does a good job. No matter haw many times my kids come to the door, or how much she likes them, she barks at them. I have no idea what she would do if
a stranger came to the door. Probably roll on her back and beg for a tummy rub.
