Just as there are days and days of grayness and many days of rain , while I was in PT, here in Venice, we have many days of sun, blue sky and warm temperatures. However,
I checked the weather for the week that my daughter comes, and something went haywire. We will be having PT weather. My usual method of following the weather is to take the report and either add, if it is heat, or subtract if they are predicting snow. That
usually works for us . We use to keep a " Weather or Not"notebook at our cottage. I still have them. We kept a report of the weather every day that we were there. Occasionally it was necessary to add a foot note. Like when a neighbor kid ran through our fire
pit. While we had a fire going. In checking our "Weather or Not" books, we could prove that it was almost always nasty and rainy on Labor Day. That was the designated day for taking our raft out of the water. We always felt that that meant we really should
leave it in the water and maybe not go home just yet. It was a sign from the weather God. Some how, we had to over ride that sign and get that raft out of the water ,close the cottage, pack the car, find
our dog ,drag our crying kids into the station wagon and leave for a four hour drive ,back to reality, school and work. Those were the good old days.
