Something that I always wanted to do is the bike ride across Iowa. Iowa is a beautiful state. We would drive across it for years on our annual way to Estes Park, Colorado. The mornings were magical with the sun and the corn
fields. I always thought that people didn't give Iowa enough respect. There is a fantastic bike ride across Iowa called RagBrai. It is held the last week in July. The route takes the bike riders across the state, covering over 400 miles. It is not a race.
It is a bike ride with over 1500 bikers. In 2022, my daughter agreed to do it with me. I start training tomorrow, or when my new bike seat gets delivered from Amazon.
