Here's the news from PT. The mountains are still here. The snow has left the mountains. I am not sure what that means. There will be no snow capped mountain view until the first snow. Since it seldom snows here, we will have
to keep a look out to know if it did snow. Still dry here. There are signs posted every where that there will be no open fires. Since this is a campers dream area, I will have to find out what exactly a
camper can do. My grandson just came back from 4 days of camping. He is not a foodie, so if he ate canned beans all 4 days, he was probably very content.I can't wait until it is my turn to go camping. The kids were waiting for the nights to get warmer, since
I will be van camping. I don't think that will happen , so we just as well plan. It would be nice to be able to have a camp fire, but that's not going to happen this trip. I bought a-sling type carrier for Dixie. Pink. When we hike, I will probably have to
carry her. Once I get her in the sling, she is quiet. Getting all four legs and her bottom in is the struggle. I am also having internet problems. Hopefully this report of life in PT goes through.
