Actually, I spent the day acting busy and waiting for a call from the lab . It didn’t come, but I was productive, making two picture book perfect loaves of bread
and 3 dozen oatmeal cookies.Without chocolate chips. I don’t know why people want to put chocolate chips in cookies. Chocolate chips are great, eaten out of a hand ,but they don’t belong in cookies. I love chocolate chip cookie dough. But I nibble
around the chips. I can’t understand why I have such strong feelings about chocolate chips not being in cookies. My oatmeal cookies had chia seeds,walnuts, golden raisins and dried cranberries. That’s a
mouthful enough. The only thing missing was a glass of cold milk. If I wasn’t waiting for a phone call that hasn’t come, I could have gone out to get some.
