I rewatched an old episode of” Queer Eye” about “ Homecoming” at a Black church. I liked
the idea when I watched it the first time and may have even said so on my daily Blog. It is a special day at the church where people who haven’t come back to the church are welcomed back. It is an important ,unconditional welcome back. There is a joyous
celebration , food, camaraderie, family. . I am now thinking how great it would be for our congregation to have something like that when we can all be together again , inside,no Zoom, no video, but actually together . Sounds good to me. When it happens, I
want to be included. Count me in.
