I really worked up a sweat today. I dusted my bedroom furniture. Never thought that that would be newsworthy. I also straightened out the top of my desk. I can’t quite get the concept of an empty desk top. I have little
stacks of papers on the top. It never gets completely cleared. My bills to pay electronically are in one pile. Mail from insurance and things like that are in another pile ,to be filed at a later day. Like the next snow day. My container of pens and pencils have to be on the desk top. So does a small plastic drawer set that holds stuff that I may need, like my address book and stapler. It just makes me feel secure to know where these things live. I confess that I have
one drawer in my desk that is completely empty. maybe I should rethink the piles on top of the desk and use that drawer. i don’t think that I am quite ready to do that. Maybe the next snow day.
