This doesn't happen often, but I had an all nighter with Noodle. He cried. He whimpered. He barked. He stared at the bathroom door. His anti anxiety chew didn't help. I was concerned about giving him his sedative after the chew, so we toughed
it out. I cuddled him and that was good for a short time. When I thought that he had relaxed enough to go back to his bed, he started all over again. Was it kidney stones. I don't think so. Was it his ears. Maybe. Was it sundowners, maybe. I looked up emergency
vets, but the nearest was not where I am. We took several walks and he was perky on them. No pain, no problem. He finally fell asleep about 5 am. Me too. The rest of the day was normal for him. Ate, walk, pooped, peed.Rest of my day was in slow motion.
