The Rabbis Shabbat remarks last night got me thinking. The Torah portion included the "Golden Rule". It is not do unto others, but love others .Maybe like others is a better word. He told of a story that he read in the newspaper about a burglar who
became humanized when the people he was going to rob, asked him to have a glass of wine with them. I can see that happening. He drank the wine and left without hurting or stealing .I am thinking about trying this approach to my life. It'll be a hard sell for
me to think kindly about some of our political representatives, but because I heard it in the Torah, I will try. (Silence here, I'm working on it) It's not working.
