ON THE BACK BURNER

I have no idea what day this is, but my first day here was what was left from the day I got in. I took public transportation, 2 buses and 1 train. Considering that I just took a 13 hour plane trip, the only thing left would be a boat. The most fascinating part of this train and bus ride was seeing all of the young soldiers , laughing, flirting, using iPhones and at the same time carrying machine guns as if they were babies slung on their hips. It's an an appendage for them.Just as it was on my last trip here, everywhere seems to be uphill. Seriously, this is what is meant by "going up to Jerusalem".
