I saw a rainbow this morning as I was walking our dog . Morning is my special time. I always turn my husband down when he says that he will walk Cricket. The morning is when I say my Shema's. I do a couple of different
versions. I sing it, extending certain sounds until I get to a driveway,or a tree.I see how long I can hold a note. I change the melody. I don't think this is breaking any Judaic laws.I also ask for things. I have a one to one relationship with
God, so I can ask for anything that I want.
When I see a rainbow,I often look around to see who else is seeing it with me. Mostly, if anyone is around,no one is looking up. There is so much to see if you look up,especially
in the early morning. The sky is often different shades of pink, blue, grey and white. The color of the sky sets me up for my day.
But a rainbow, this covenent with me and God is special. It is never too late to look
up.
