I run out of baggies that I plan to freeze it in. To facilitate the process, I just use olive oil and basil for the storage .Then when I need it , I add the rest of the ingredients. Right now, I just want
to save all of that fresh basil. About a month ago , I made basil salt, which I store in the fridge . It is really really good. Especially on all of these heirloom tomatoes that I have been feasting on. I love getting all of this produce from my grandson.
Now I wish he worked on a cattle farm. Think of what he could bring home then.
