Dec. 14

It still happens. Even now, hours later, I get teary eyed when I think of what happened. I opened up the glove compartment in my car, after not being here to look in it, for almost two years. In it was Bob's kipah. That is the the head covering that he wore to Friday night services, almost every Friday night that we were in Venice.. I actually made that kipah for him. It just cracked something in my heart and head when I saw it in the glove compartment. I don't know why it hit me so hard when I saw it there. I was in the parking lot of Dixie's  Vet when I decided to open the compartment. There was no reason to open it, and now, I don't even know why I did. Dixie went for her allergy shot and I had just put her in her jump seat and then, I just opened the glove compartment. It was  a surprise to see it there and such a reminder of my loss that even now, hours later, I cry when I think back. I guess you can be brave just so long and then it floods out. i'm done.  Back to what is.
