Those Growler planes are back again. I don't know why they bother me so much. Today, I was determined to spot one. I couldn't. What they do is land on fighter ships. So they practice landing and taking off. Over and over again. They are not supposed to be carrying nuclear bombs in practice, just your ordinary destructive bombs. I am assuming that during practice, they aren't carrying any bombs at all. I feel some what better thinking that. I tried sporting them as I finished up my mowing,  but  they were either too high or I was not looking where they were. I was going by sound and since sound carries differently, I didn't have a clue where to look. After I killed the mower I was using yesterday,, my son had another one tucked in his wood shed. His wood shed is actually a shed where lumber is kept. Long pieces of lumber, shorter ones left from projects. This is not to be confused with the shed that has logs for burning in his wood stove. Dixie loves the wood shed. I suspect that there are mice in there. She gets on her belly and scoots under pieces of lumber looking for what I think is mice. When I call her, it takes a few minutes for her to find her way out of the stacked wood. I've told her that she is on her own in there. I'm not going after her if she gets stuck. At least that is what I tell her.
