Another wonderful Shabbat evening. I was dressed in a blouse,a sweater, a down vest, a hat, warm socks and Crocks. And a face mask. I wear my mask all of the time. When I eat, it’s like a bib.I use to wonder how the Asians were so comfortable in masks. I’d see them in the airport and it was part of their outer clothing. Now , I am part of that same group. I forget that I even have it on. I do remember when I am doing something pretty physical and my breathing is labored...I feel like I need to come up for air.Today is my big day. I sow my grass seeds on another patch of yard. I have raked and pulled and now it’s the fun part. I love to throw the seeds around. I feel like an urban farmer. Then I get to set up the sprinklers. That is always a challenge. I arrange the hose, go back to turn on the water. Not where I want it, turn off the water,go move the sprinkler, go back and turn on the water. If I’m lucky, I get it right on the second try. Doesn’t always work this way. That’s OK. I’m retired, I have all day.
