What is that saying about doing a random act of kindness? I went to a different grocery store today. One that gives points that you can use to purchase gas. I use my sons numbers , so he gets the gas. I couldn't reach the bulk bay leaves
that I wanted for the shrimp and grits that I planning for dinner tonight, so I just bought the jarred ones. When I got to the check out , the cashier said", I can't let you buy these. You would save $6.00 if you bought the bulk. " I said that
I would have, but I couldn't reach them. He stopped cashiering, there were people behind me, and he took the jar of bay leaves and about 4 minutes later, came back with a little plastic bag of bay leaves.. cost .. about $1.00. No one in line complained about
waiting, in fact, the guy behind me wanted to know if the bay leaves were the same kind growing on bay bushes. And yesterday, at another store, when I couldn't pull up my sons numbers for a discount, a lady, two check out counters called out her numbers, so
I could save some money. I don't know if I can get use to this.
