There is something that I can not do , successfully. That technique where you get rid of the stone in the avocado. Slam the knife onto the stone and lift it out of the avocado meat. I try , but my knife slips and I'm afraid that I will chop off
my wrist . I tried putting the avocado on the counter cutting board and slamming the knife onto it. That works, but seems excessive, and I have missed a few times and chopped into the cutting board. I know to use a spoon to scoop out the green avocado. I like
the way that works, you get a nicely shaped piece of avocado. But I am still stumped about getting the stone out. I think that stone is also known as the seed. I like the name stone better because that seed is so hard, that it is like a stone for my knife.
