January is done. I did a month of NoBuy. No Amazon, although I was tempted. Read a non fiction book and learned about trees. I didn't buy any cook books. I did continue
to take Dixie to day care and have lunches with friends. That was mental health for me. I enjoyed my non cluttered environment. I didn't miss any of the " stuff" that I gave away. I do have to admit that I missed some of my spices. I am down to salt, pepper,cumin
and a bunch of Middle Eastern spices that I keep in my fridge. I decided not to replenish my spice collection since I will be leaving to get back to PT. When I come back this fall and settle down for a long winters stay, I'll get all fresh spices. I have been
cooking very little, so I haven't needed all of the ingredients that I use to keep in the pantry. I don't waste food , no more throwing out soggy greens. I just don't buy them is how I figured this out.
I am planning a trip to Goodwill now that the month is up. I am so excited.
