Sept. 8

Crazy day. It should have been a day of contemplation and thoughtfulness. Instead, for a greater part of the day, I took instructions from a mystery woman helping me get my iPhone to work. After Dixie's morning walk, she became ill. She was lethargic , hardly able to lift her head, just a limp baby. And her stomach was distended and making terrible sounds. I was trying to call my Vet when the phone just wouldn't let me make a call to any number ,other than my carrier. I was instructed to turn my phone off after we tried everything that the service person suggested. I was promised that they would call me as soon as they fixed it. And they did,  but I was afraid that I would have an emergency and no one home and no working phone. By the time I was called back, and it was fixed, Dixie was feeling better and I wasn't as concerned about rushing to the Vet.She seems fine now, after eating a scrambled egg and a banana, she seems much happier. If it's not your kids, or your grandkids, it's your dog.

Don't quite know how this got to me but it was on the top line of my computer (not in email) But I really enjoyed it. I truly admire you.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
