April 27

Now that I am officially a gardener, I have my own trowel. I feel very authentic. My colorful boots that I bought awhile back and brought here with me, split open. I did what a real gardener would do. Duck tape. We joined a farm share group that you pay a one time fee to get a once a week delivery of a box of farm fresh, locally grown, organic veggies. I can't wait for the first delivery, which should be next week. You can buy partial or a full share. I went for the full share. Between what we planted and the farm share, we will be eating a lot of veggies this summer. Too bad you can't plant dog food. We could then be completely self sustaining .

Don't quite know how this got to me but it was on the top line of my computer (not in email) But I really enjoyed it. I truly admire you.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
