As I was putting mayo on the  sandwiches that I make for my son and grandson, this thought just popped into my head. My making sure that the mayo covers every space on that bread, corner to corner, is an act of my love to these two guys. I laughed at myself for equating mayo spreading with love, but love, actually , can be measured in small simple acts. Then, I forgot about my revelation of love, and went on with the rest of the day. Later, my son brought me Three packages that had been delivered from Amazon. I knew that I was waiting for a few things, so getting Three packages wasn’t a surprise. One was a cook book.I still can’t help myself and this one looked like a good read, plus some recipes that I might use. Then  I opened the smaller package and it was batteries for my hearing aid. Not too exciting. Then the third package was larger. I opened it and a pair of fuzzy , warm flannel pj’s with booties fell out. A gift from a special friend in Venice. She had read in my Blog that I kept wearing the same pj’s, over and over, because for some reason, I only brought one pair with me. Now this is love. An unexpected gift that made me laugh again. Fuzzy, warm flannel pj’s. Every time I wear them, I will feel so warm and fuzzy myself. That is the feeling of love. Thanks, friend. Love back at you.Dec. 5

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
