WHO published a report on the benefit of exercise , especially during Covid .It suggests how much a adolescent should get,a pregnant or lactating woman and people up through
65. So ,what am I, copped liver. No reason to exercise after 65.? I went back to check. Maybe I overlooked exercise for 85 year olds. Nope. Still not
there. First some creep advises that you visit your loved ones in nursing homes because they are going to die anyway and now a reputable organization ends exercise programs at 65. As we say back home, “ well, I declare.” Today was Dixie’s
hard exercise day. Twice a week we do “ the hill” and the lagoon .I’m the person on the other end of the leash. It is a vigorous ,heart thumping work out. I am always glad to see our mailbox.
That means that I made it , I am still breathing, although hard and I didn’t have a heart attack. I would be happy to challenge any one over 65 year old to this walk. Bet I win or at least tie.
