My presidential ballot came. My DiL brought it to my door with a bouquet of flowers. She knew , as everyone knows, how long I had been waiting for it. I savored it for 24 hours and then I filled it out. I read the instructions more than once. I wanted it to have no chance of being disqualified.   It goes in the mailbox in the morning when I take Dixie for her walk. Yeah, one more vote for the next President of the United States. I don’t take lightly the fact that I am a first generation American.Being born in 1934 and being Jewish , my life could have been much different. If I had lived at all. I’ve seen that catch phrase,” vote like your life depends  on it”. Mine may.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
