It is amazing that I have anything growing. The deer, which I use to get excited seeing, eat my blooming plants and the Robin’s eat my grass seed. The Robin’s
are on the American dining plan. They come when their reservations are stated. That is every evening after 7:30. Like clock work. Only Robin’s. The deer have a preferred time. Early morning works for them. I bang on the door,I say “shoo”,
they just looked like a deer caught in the headlights. I know now where that description came from. They just stop eating the heads off of the remaining flowers ,look directly at you, and don’t move. At least the birds react to movement or a noise. Then
they come right back. I am tempted to just put out a bowl of grass seed and let them have a go at it. Today, my DiL and I primed my trailer. The primer is white. Really white. I did the first five feet and she got on the ladder and did the top. We are a team.
Then she got on a ladder at her house and painted the eaves. That’s when I stopped being a team player.
