You go to bed with your confirmation for your flight to the US under your pillow and you wake up and you find that you were mistaken. You didn’t dream it. You really had the printed confirmation in your hand, But really
it didn’t confirm anything. Your flights were changed and now you leave on a different day with the final destination, not where you originated. Are you following this. I am forever thankful to the man in Pakistan who wrote us an email and told us about
the change. I could have been at the airport a day early. We are very much in lockdown now. At least the other day we could take a walk. The only people who should be out and have permission to be , are dog walkers. They can go out twice a day. I always knew
that dogs would be the ones to save us a life of solitude. However, my daughter does not have a dog and I am desperate for one. Go figure. I wrote to the agency that I hope to adopt a dog from , telling them about my being out of the country and how do we
fix up a home visit. That will be tricky, so I am not sure how this will come about. A wonderful friend has offered to shop for me since I will be confined to home for two weeks. I tried to use a delivery service from Walmart, but everything that I wanted
was out of stock. Like dried beans. I didn’t think anyone else but me still soaked and boiled beans. Good to know. And rib eye steak, thin cut. Out. whole chicken. Out. are people hoarding whole chickens now? I didn’t even put toilet paper on the
list. I have a secret stash. It’s under the sink in the guest bathroom if you run out.
