Today in the NYT there was an article that we retirees shouldn’t forget our bucket list. I keep adding to mine. Who knew that I wanted to go to Denali. It turned out to be a wonderful journey . Or that I would buy a trailer and ground it in Washington state, or drive cross country.I love my bucket list. I’ve added two more things to the list. I applied to be a volunteer at an Israeli defense camp. I’ll do any assignment. Just bring it on. Then I will walk a 10 K with my daughter who lives in Jerusalem at the Jerusalem Marathon. I’ll be there, so why not. And I think I get a “T” shirt. I run for T shirts. I hope I get a medal. That would be so cool. I also hope that I can do those hills. I am always on the look out for more things to add to my bucket list.I am living longer than we planned when we sat down years ago with our financial adviser. I may live longer than my financial resources.  But as long as I am alive, and with a little caution, I’m going for the theory of “do it”. Anyone want to join me?

Don't quite know how this got to me but it was on the top line of my computer (not in email) But I really enjoyed it. I truly admire you.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
