April 24

THEY, are doing what THEY do, about once a year. Cutting back all of the greenery. I know that it grows back quickly, but it looks so stark when they do it. It' s always a surprise. I hear the chain saws and see plies of greenery on the ground.I wish they could just do it slowly, an ince at a time. My favorite bushes are now two feet tall. When I am back in September, they will once again be as tall as I am. I know this ,but it still hurts to see the branches in a pile to  be taken away. Not to change the subject, I gave Noodle a piece of matzoh. He seemed to have difficulty chewing and swallowing the piece.  I know his pain.
