I am an early riser . I like to sit in our lanai and check other early risers by looking for lights on in nearby condo's. There are a lot of us around. I wait until 6:30 for our paper to come. I spend a lot of my time waiting. When Bob and I were courting, I would wait for him to get a week end pass and travel from Biloxi, Mississippi to New Orleans. In those days, he usually hitched a ride with some other service man. Now I wait in doctor's offices for our appointments. I like being early. It's a curse. If an appointment is at 2 o'clock, I leave the house to be there at 1:45 or earlier. And then I wait. I know that I will have to wait, but I still do this.  My father was an early riser. I wonder if this is a genetic thing. My mother wasn't. Our kids are early risers. Most of our Grandkids are night people and then they compensate by sleeping in. And , another thing, what does it mean to sleep in? Who sleeps out? Don't answer that.

Don't quite know how this got to me but it was on the top line of my computer (not in email) But I really enjoyed it. I truly admire you.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
