I see that the National Parks may charge up to $70 for a pass to enter the park. One of my most prized procession  is my Golden Age Pass to the National Parks. I got it 25 or so years ago and it has always gotten my car into the Rocky Mountain national Park . Every year that I go to the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, I packed the pass. When I am not there, I keep it where I can see it ,right on my desk. I am not sure if they still issue this pass. It is red, white and blue and I have it encased in a plastic shield. It is as special to me as my Social Security card.  I have a friend , my age, who still volunteers at a National Park . She has done this for many summer seasons. She is usually assigned to a visitors center, a great place for her. She gets to wear a uniform. I think that was part of the draw for her. She  loves it. If you ever meet her, ask about the Lewis and Clark trail. She is very knowledgable.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
