I feel as if I just ran a Marathon. Twice a week I attend a Boot Camp fitness program. We are picking up the pace. No more coddling. It is interesting that if you do the exercise correctly, you can feel it. A little tweaking by our leader makes all
of the difference. I was thinking how easy some of the exercises were. Then he pointed out where I needed to point a toe or lift a heel and POW, I felt the burn, which is what we are after. I love the feeling of working out really hard. I do not believe in
the no pain, no gain theory,but a hard workout where your muscles know they have been asked to do a little more than they are used to, is a good feeling for me. Today, Bob and I went out to lunch after my class. The food was good, but the only thing that I
could think of was to get home and take a nap. I earned it.
