For Tuesday I ordered a gizmo that will let me cut my seat belt and break the window on my car if I end up in a body of water. It came two to an order. It didn't occur to me that many people have two cars. Two car family. Then I thought about it for
a mini second. Houses come with two car garages. Many people have two TV's. Two bedroom, two bathroom condo's . We use to have two cars, two houses, two incomes, even two dogs. A lot of two's going on. Now , we have one house, one car, one TV, one dog. Still
have the two bedroom, two bathroom gig. That makes me half in the mainstream. When I was growing up and before we moved to that wonderful apartment on Hurst Street in New Orleans, we lived in a one bedroom apartment with a Murphy bed in the living room. There
were usually 5 of us in the apartment since my Grandma lived the last weeks of her life with us. It was crowded. We shared one bathroom and I don't remember it being a problem. My parents had the Murphy bed, the rest of us slept in the bedroom. I was in a
crib . My sister and Grandma had the twin beds. It was what you did for family. Except for my Grandmother being so ill, it was a good time. I don't remember the transition to the large apartment. I just woke up and I was there. My Mother must have thought
she was in heaven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. I was in a big girl bed. Now , that is happiness.
