My visiting son tells me that it is OK if I don't eat the Passover matzohs that I bought for the Holiday. I have one box left . I have a freezer full of chocolate brickle matzoh that I made with the last opened box. If he gave me permission, then I don't feel guilty and I will put them in the food box at our Temple. He also told me that it was OK to throw away those slivers of soap that I have collected. For some reason, I just can't use soap when it gets that small and I can't just throw away those slivers. That is a problem. But he gave me permission to throw the slivers out. I can't. I checked with Dr. Google and found that I can put them in my food processor, add a little water and make either a liquid , as in liquid soap, or I can remake them into a bar. I tried the recipe and I am making a bar. So far, it looks like a rich, creamy whipped cream. I had to hid it because I was afraid that someone would try to eat it. I hear that soap is not an eatable product. Although, I can remember my Mother threatening me with "washing your mouth with soap". I wonder what I did. Did it have anything to do with matzoh. I wondered how the two were intertwined, since I have these guilt feelings about the two. I'll have to think about this.
