I did spend most of a rainy Sunday watching the Olympics. I know someone has to lose, but I feel for them. If I were their Mom ,I'd tell them that they didn't win that medal but they will always be able to say that they were Olympians and they represented
their country with dignity. That is enough to make me proud of them. There are a few things that I don't understand though. Rugby. Woman's Rugby. I watched it for the first time . Is that how you play it. It's like foot ball for women , without the padding.
I at least understand soccer. You kick the ball and don't use your hands. I'm going to google rugby. There must be more to it than what I watched. And how do those little girls do all of those flips and twist in the floor exercises. Amazing to watch. I feel
for their young bodies. I wilI check in with them in 15 years and see if they can still walk. I use to be able to do a somersault and a backbend and I thought that was great. Now, I can hardly touch my toes. And balancing on the 4 inch beam. Awesome. Checked
out the male swimmers. What abs and shoulders. Not a loser in the bunch. I noticed that no one has zits. Must be the water.
