August 18

It is a bitter sweet day. I am sad/happy. I was just thinking that ,at this moment, I have one kid on a plane with a one way ticket to Israel, another, sailing in the Pacific Ocean, one probably on the NY city subway and a fourth, in a pick up truck on a road in the mountains of Colorado. I'd love to be with any of them. Since that isn't possible,I'll just sit and think about how happy they make me and how proud I am of them all. That's all I wanted to say. I need to dry my tears now. I can't see the keyboard.

Through modern technology, I actually saw my daughter land in Israel. She looked happy and was crying, too.

It is amazing you actually were able to see your daughter in Israel. It really is bittersweet. But they are happy so we are happy for them. Blessings!

Your children are all secure because of you and Bob no matter where they roam. Glad you saw the landing in Israel. Mazel Tov to all.

Leona, I'm crying also, know the feeling very well. You always post things from the heart. Thank you for all these posts.

Everything sounds so wonderful Leona. Venice will seem boring . I would want to move to Portownsend where the kids are living. All sounds great . Is there?
